Our History & Milestones

1947

Government Medical College & Hospital was established in Nashik, Maharashtra, with an initial capacity of 200 beds and the first batch of 100 medical students.

1962

Expanded to 500 beds and introduced postgraduate programs in General Medicine and General Surgery. The hospital became a regional referral center.

1985

Commissioned the new 10-story hospital building with advanced diagnostic facilities and specialized ICUs. Launched super-specialty services in Cardiology and Neurology.

2005

Accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH). Expanded to 1250 beds with state-of-the-art operation theaters and trauma center.

2018

Our medical college admits 200 MBBS students annually through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
